CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Fabric A:
- Cut 8 – 4 1⁄2” x WOF strips (for Outer Border)
Fabric B:
- Cut 7 – 2 1⁄2” x WOF strips (for Inner Border)
Fabric F:
- Cut 8 – 1 1⁄2” x WOF strips (for middle Border)
QUILT TOP ASSEMBLY:
- Lay out blocks in seven rows of five blocks each, alternating Block 1 & 2 as shown below.
- Sew Blocks together into rows. Then sew rows together to complete the quilt center.
- Join the 7 – 2 1⁄2” Fabric B inner border strips end to end. From the long strip, cut 2 – 2 1⁄2” x length of your quilt top (84 1⁄2”) strips and add to each side of the quilt top. Press toward the border. Then cut 2 – 2 1⁄2” x Width of your quilt top (64 1⁄2”) strips and add to the top & bottom of the quilt top. Press toward the border.
- Join the 8 – 1 1⁄2” Fabric F middle border strips end to end. From the long strip, cut 2 – 1 1⁄2” x length of your quilt top (88 1⁄2”) strips and 2 – 1 1⁄2 x Width of your quilt top (66 1⁄2”) strips. Add to the quilt top in the same manner as in Step 3.
- Join the 8 – 4 1⁄2” Fabric A outer border strips end to end. From the long strip, cut 2 – 4 1⁄2” x length of your quilt top (90 1⁄2”) strips and 2 – 4 1⁄2” x Width of your quilt top (74 1⁄2”) strips. Add to the quilt top in the same manner as in Step 3.
- Join the nine Fabric B binding strips using diagonal seams. Fold in half along the length of the strip with wrong sides together and press.
- Layer quilt top with batting and prepared backing. Quilt as desired.
- Bind using your favorite method.
